Youngstown man 30 sentenced for 2nd rape

YOUNGSTOWN — Franklin C. Herns, 30, was sentenced to 11 more years in prison Wednesday for raping a woman whom he had previously dated in 2013. A jury found Herns guilty of the rape March 29 following a trial. Herns and the woman broke up three to seven days before the rape, the woman testified during the trial last week in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
