Ypsilanti Township auto salvage business destroyed by fire

YPSILANTI, MI — An auto salvage business was destroyed by a fire in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 2. Fire crews were called to B&G Auto Salvage, located at 1711 Cadillac Ave in Ypsilanti Township, shortly before 2 a.m. for the blaze, officials said. The salvaged yard was fully engulfed in flames, according to Ypsilanti Township fire Captain Dave Crescio. No injuries were reported, but Crescio said the building is considered a total loss.
