Oakland Three people shot in East Oakland neighborhoods

OAKLAND — Three people were injured in shootings in East Oakland neighborhoods, including two a short distance outside BART’s Fruitvale station Sunday, authorities said. Around 5:15 p.m., police responded to reports of ShotSpotter activity near the 3300 block of East 12th Street. When officers arrived, they found a man near a convenience store suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his arm. A short distance away, officers found a second man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his legs.
