Police arrest homeless man for knife attack in DC

WASHINGTON, D.C – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District have announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with a knife attack that occurred on Wednesday in the 4000 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest. At around 5:15 pm, the suspect and victim became involved in a physical altercation, during which the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife. Responding officers apprehended the suspect, and the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. A knife was recovered at the scene.
