Shooting suspect arrested in DC shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District have announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred on Tuesday in the 3400 block of 13th Street, Southeast. At around 12:30 am, the suspects forcibly entered an apartment, assaulted and shot the victim, then fled the scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. On Wednesday, 41-year-old Tiaquana Chandler of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Kill and Burglary.
