UConn fans pack Gampel for Final Four watch party
STORRS – Lloyd Mitchell hadn’t been back to Gampel Pavilion since his college days in the late 1990s. But here he was Saturday night, sitting courtside with his son, back for the first time since he was a UConn student watching Khalid El-Amin and Ray Allen in the years before the UConn men’s basketball team won the national championship for the first time in 1999.
